Documentation on KYC API

Updated documentation
Following the release of the new documentation in October, we are pleased to announce an updated and enhanced version. This new edition features more detailed information, as well as improved user handling through layout enhancements. We recommend regularly checking the documentation, as it is frequently updated to reflect changes. You can access all provided documents here.

Holiday Code Freeze Period

Please be informed that we are in the middle of a code freeze until January 8th, 2025. Consequently, no changes will be implemented during this period. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and wish everyone happy holidays and a prosperous new year.

New and enhanced integrations

Country Coverage

• Germany DE
  We are pleased to announce significant updates to our German connections that will enhance data quality and expand our data coverage, thereby offering you more comprehensive business insights. Key improvements include the integration of the Transparenzregister, accessible via the enhanced endpoint, as well as register excerpts available through the document order. As per the law, this functionality is available only for obliged entities, please contact your Relationship Manager for more details.

• Slovakia SK
  We have connected to the Obchodný Register Slovenskej Republiky, thus providing data on ultimate beneficial owners in both structured and unstructured formats (ADDTRRPSK). 

• Hong Kong HK
  We are pleased to announce that our connection to the Hong Kong register has been successfully re-established. This update incorporates the recent modifications implemented by the Hong Kong Companies Registry website. Moving forward, we will exclusively use the BRN (Business Registration Number) instead of the CRN (Company Registration Number) as registrationNumber

• United States US – Conneticut CT , Kansas KS , New Hampshire NH
  We are happy to announce our new API connection with the Connecticut Secretary of State – Business Service Division, which replaces our previous connection. This integration offers improved and more reliable data provision, encompassing a comprehensive dataset and associated documents, henceforth. In addition to the new connection to Connecticut, we also reestablished the connection to the register of the State of Kansas and the State of New Hampshire. 

• Sweden SE
  Our connection to the register in Sweden has been enriched by the availability to retrieve the official filings via API and kompany.com.

• In addition to the new or enhanced connections mentioned above, we have revised and implemented improvements in the following jurisdictions: the live search for New Zealand NZ, the enhanced order for Hungary HU, the name search for Japan JP and Australia AU.

API

• OpenAPI specification review
  We are pleased to present an updated version of our API specification, giving detailed information on all possible values that come in the field providerSpecificData

• Document monitoring
  With the new enhancements, users can now conveniently monitor specific documents from a curated list of relevant filings, greatly improving efficiency and accuracy in tracking necessary information.

• Cost Tracking Header
  KYC API v2 now fully supports the inclusion of two additional headers, X-End-Company-Id and X-End-Customer-Id, for all our POST endpoints except the monitor endpoint. This enhancement allows the tracking of usage of cost-incurring endpoints for specific users. More details can be found here.

Developer Portal Front-End Updates
In our previous update, we informed you that the portal is currently undergoing construction. This month, we concentrated on advancing the page navigation across various sections to enhance user experience.

New and enhanced country integration

• Luxemburg LU
  A new connection to the Luxembourg register is currently being developed, aimed at enhancing stability and improving response rates.

• Isle of Man IM
  In addition to our coverage of Luxembourg, we are planning to expand our services to include a new connection to the Isle of Man Companies Registry.
